Danny is great, but I was charged $553 for less than 20 minutes of work: $98 for coming out, and then a bewildering $455 for one part and the labor to install it (about 15 minutes). I've used Saddleback Plumbing happily for 7-8 years including a total replacement of the heat/ac systems, but this charge seems excessive. In fact, I thought I heard it wrong when Danny told me. Now I am very hesitant to call them again.

Vince solved the mystery of my problem by finding the source of the dripping sound that indicated a pipe leak in the wall. It turned out not to be a leak, but instead a problem with my water heater. Luckily Saddleback Plumbing replaces water heaters too and Vince provided a quote via email within 20 minutes. Saddleback has been my go-to plumbing company in times of need and I have always been glad for the prompt response and excellent service.
